Living in a land of shadows

In January and February we celebrate the season of Epiphany in the Christian Year. An “epiphany” in the Bible meant a manifestation of God to the human race and during the weeks of Epiphany we look at the ways in which God makes himself known to us. 

Where have you encountered God?

In your prayers and public worship? In your reading of the Bible?
In the behaviour and attitudes of other people? 
In the world around you? In your parents and grandparents? In your children and grandchildren?

Epiphany takes us through the ever-changing ways in which we get to know God.
