THE SEASON OF LENT: A TESTING TIME
February sees the beginning of Lent, traditionally a time of self-denial and serious reflection, as the church recalls how Jesus was tempted by the devil to betray his ministry and mission and how those same temptations come to his followers many times during the course of their lives. During Lent 2008 we shall be looking at the ways in which our faith, our strength, our relationships, our beliefs are tested and the meaning of true power.
