Lent is traditionally a time when we remember the temptations of Jesus
Christ: temptations to be the kind of god other people wanted him to be,
rather than the kind of God he really was. We still talk nowadays about
“fighting our inner demons” because we are all challenged to do what is
wrong, to give way to destructive attitudes and behaviour. So walk
through Lent with Jesus Christ and let his strength be added to your own.
